    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I wear a 7 1/2 but bought a size 8 boot figuring that I might have thicker socks on when I wear these boots. I never was able to get my foot in them. In fact three other people, with a 7-8 size, tried them on and no one could get their foot in. Finally, a size 6 foot finally was able to get them on. The ankle is too narrow for an average size foot.
