I usually wear an 8; the 71/2's fit perfectly. These are nice boots, pretty cowboy with a heel counter for spurs and a fairly wide top. I bought them for work on the ranch but wore them to an event in Santa Fe, where they garnered more attention than I would have expected.

They were a little difficult to put on as to get your foot down into the bed you have to really push but once you have put them on a couple of times it becomes easier. They fit perfectly! So many complements!

The shaft and instep of the boot do not allow the foot to slide all the way into the boot. Though there was no wear on the soles of the boots, the creases in the leather showed that we weren't the only ones with our heels stuck in the shaft above the heel cup and the tops of our insteps wedged into the top of the foot part of the boots. Cinderella we are not. Returning the boots.

The boot has a comfy foot bed. I wore them for several hours the first time and no foot pain at all. If looks matter, my 17 yo fashionista daughter, loves them and I got many compliments on them.

They are an odd cut...the foot looks really big and would have probably fit, but again, the boot shaft is so narrow, really needs a zipper. The leather was rough, I expect nicer for the price. Twisted X might need to revamp their cut...as I feel I'm an average-sized American gal with an average calf and ankle. Second time I've sent this brand back and won't order again. I have bought Corral boots from STP and they fit perfectly, a 9B. Sorry to have to send these back, they had so much promise for an everyday boot.

Three days into wearing them in the city and the leather rubs/wears right off, looking as if something is eating away at it. I am sending them back for a refund today.
