Twisted X Boots Lace-Up Work Boots (For Women)

This is third pair of identical boots. Twisted X made some awesome lace up boots. Wish they would keep making them. They are great for people who have extremely flat feet. They are the most comfortable pair of boots that I have ever put my feet in.

Unfortunately, even with the STP warning to order smaller, the boot still felt a full size too big. Even with thick socks I felt like I'd trip over my feet. I wear boots hard on a construction site, this boot looked more stylish than I'd expect from a work boot. Wondered how durable it'll be after a year or 2. Tread seemed modest for a real work boot. But the mesh lining and steel toe were just what I would have wanted. Other than size the boot felt comfortable right out of the box. I'll need to try a different size.

The last pair of Twisted X cowboy boots I ordered were listed as "runs half size too large" so I ordered down but ended up returning to order down another 1/2 size. These work boots said to order 1/2 size down but I should have ordered down a size and a half again. I'll return these and hope that a 1/2 size smaller(but not the wide width I need) will still fit.

I sized down a full size (7.5 to 6.5), and it was 1.5X too big. This is a man/boys' size. It is a very nice boot, but not made for women.

I love roper/lacer boots with jeans & flannel shirts. These boots are stylish but durable. Even though I ordered a 1/2 size smaller, I could have did a full size smaller. Feels a little to roomy,too. Didn't want to return so I wear extra thick socks. They are easily scuffed to where it is noticable. After the newness wears off I won't care so much if they look worn. Even though I had never heard of this brand,- I would consider buying Twisted X boots again.

These boots get high marks - with one BIG caveat -you may have trouble getting the right size. The boots are great: beautifully made, exc leather, style & functionality meld to make good-looking, hard-working protection for your feet. They felt good right out of the box - but read on. I got these to use for working outside & because I like a workboot for most wear - so I planned to use them a lot. But I've not been able to get the fit right, and because I like the boots so much, am even considering wearing a size that makes me look like a dwarf they are so big - yet they are comfortable even so. I wasn't crazy about the color when I saw it on the website, but it's not too yellowish and in time will probably darken - I quite like it now. First, the guidelines on STP seem inaccurate (first time that's happened to me in 20 years) - the sizes seem like mens not womens - I am a womens 9, but the size 7 looks even biggish. Second, although I am always a medium, the area inside the boot around the arch seems narrow - my orthotic would not fit in there. Arch support is good, and when the length was longer, it wasn't too tight, but the next size down I tried, it was too tight in width. So you might consider getting a wide if you are a medium. This is my 3rd go-round finding the right size because I do love the boot. It's good enough looking that you won't feel clunky wearing it to the supermarket. Even the big one I've been trying is very very comfortable - the leather is stiff in toe area, but flexes where it needs to. The laces go up high enough, the padding around the collar is comfortable. They are just a really well-made, well-designed, super utilitarian but very handsome boot. STP just needs to provide more info about sizing or re-size.

I followed the STP direction to order smaller. They were just perfect felt good from the first day with no problems what so ever. very comfy a sharp boot that looks to good to get mucked up comfortable up the ankle too

I was surprised at the boots being a full size too large. They are very well made and will last a long time, even with me doing heavy farm work.
