    stiff and narrow across the arch - will see if stretching helps, otherwise the stiff new leather will take alot of breaking in. Otherwise it is a great boot for muddy work around horses and riding. It is short enough to get on and off even though stiff. I like them - hope they will work out.

    These boots were good looking and highly anticipated. The length was easily 1 size larger than the 7.5W I ordered, while the width (over the arch of my foot) was a little tight, which I would have overlooked due to a possible break-in period. Almost tripped over them when I tried walking in them. Curious if they're seconds - didn't notice anything stating that. Too bad. Back they go....

    What I love is that these boots come in a "c" width. They do run a half size bigger, but with a thick pair of socks they fit just fine. The breaking in time was minimal. I would love to have a second pair.

    According to STPs site it says to order one size smaller. I could not even get these on in the szie smaller than I wear. I think if I had gotten them in my regular size 7.5 they would have fit. Strange because their STPs own site says they try on every pair of shoes by average people so they can make these suggestions to customers. Anyways, they are going back. But they seem like a good boot.

    I love these boots, and the size I ordered fit perfectly! I'm glad I read the reviews first - this boot runs at least a half size large. I also ordered the wide width which was perfect for me - otherwise I don't think I would be able to pull them on. The leather is high quality, as is the design of this boot - perfect for wearing with jeans or other casual wear.
