    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I was excited to get this skirt. I love linen, and the light blue color was nice. However, this skirt was both over-accented, and lacking in shape. The eyelet trim, the flounces, the asymmetrical hemline and seams- too much going on. Add to that the boxy nature of the cut and you get what looks like a sampler piece, not something to actually wear. I prefer one or two eye-catching accents and a trim fit. If you do, too... pass on this.

    This is a really lovely skirt. However, you need a flat stomach for this cut (which is not me). I normally wear a 6 or 8 in a skirt and the size 8 did not fit well in the abdomen. It is beautiful shape and style for the right person.

    Not so flattering as an A-line skirt, but I love the eyelet lace, and it's nice to have something white for spring/summer. Also works as a quasi-petticoat underskirt if you want that look. Zipper on mine tends to stick.
