    This is just a nice, really light skirt with a fun pattern and design. It looks exactly like it does in the picture. The fabric is ramie, but looks and feels like a fine-woven, nicely-draping linen. The skirt liner, which keeps it from being see-through, is this light but opaque soft, cream-colored cotton. And it's one of those 'dress it up, dress it down' pieces. It was a great bargain too. We're just getting into warm weather here, so it hasn't gotten much wear and I haven't washed it yet. Warning: It does need ironing.

    One of four reviews suggested the fit was a bit funny, but without any specifics, I decided to give it a try...however I agree with the previous review that this cut is very unflattering. The waist is narrow, and immediately below the elastic waist the skirt gets about 3 inches wider, then it has a funny bulge mid-thigh before narrowing again at the knee. This makes your hips look really wide and also quite a bit lower than your hips really are. I tried hiking it up a bit, so that the widening is at the hips, but this means the waist is really high, and makes my waist look really wide. I'm not sure about other sizes, but at least in the smaller sizes (4), this is super unflattering.

    I bought this skirt to wear in early preganancy to work (where most people wear suits, including the women). I got a lot of complements on it as it is really pretty and it's also very comfortable.
