Two Star Dog Melton Coat (For Women)

I've been looking for a warm coat that wasn't wool (it itches). Plus I live in Southern California, so I don't need a coat for super cold temperatures. When I received this coat, I was happy with how comfortable it was. Then I took it on a trip to San Francisco, and it was around 30 degrees at night. The coat was perfect. I'm really happy I bought it. Plus, I love the belt - it cinches in my middle and gives me a nice hourglass shape.

This coat is lightweight and stylish. Not for use on really cold days. It looks great with jeans or a skirt. I really like it.

the small was too tight in thru the shoulders and the waist felt a bit too high. The medium would have been too big thru the rest of the coat. I am about 5'7" with a 31" inseam...the overall length was good, hit me around the knees, but the belt was above my waist by a couple inches. I tend to have problems finding coats that fit thru the shoulders (in suits, I usually wear jackets 2 sizes larger than the pants). Also, this doesn't seem like it would be as warm as a traditional wool coat, this was more like a really nice micro-fleece material.

I bought this coat for my daughter-in-law, and she likes the style because it does not have the Grandma look that some dress coats have. The collar is cool and gives it a 'young' look. The fabric is not great, but feels OK, it is warm enough to for her commute to work or church. For the price, she likes it quite well. [...] steamed out easily.
