Two Star Dog Raw Silk Amber Jacket - Embroidered (For Women)

This is a well made jacket with beautiful details. The medium fit me perfectly, and I am 5'7" with somewhat broad shoulders and a 34D bust. I wore it over a sheath dress at a semi-formal outdoor wedding, and can envision wearing it spring/summer/fall with jeans or on a casual night out. My nitpicky concerns are that once the jacket is tied the opening at the neck is not quite centered, nor does the design along the neckline line up evenly, but those are small considerations.

I like the way this garment is somewhere between a sweater and a jacket. It is light weight and unlined. Raw silk has a nubby texture. The embrodiery is very feminine, but the color will go well in the office or nicely paired with jeans.

I have worn this jacket about 4 times since receiving it and have had no problems with pilling. I get so many compliments and it feels wonderful even in the heat of the day or the chill at night. Ribbons sometimes come untied on the side, so I double knot them. I highly recommend this jacket.

This jacket is just beautiful! The fabric is a nubby raw silk and contrasts in a lovely way with the lace embroidery. I bought the brown color and it's rich and elegant looking. It's very well proportioned and the wrap style is flattering. It has a detail of lace in the back too which is very pretty. It looks great with skirts or pants with just a simple, thin shell top underneath. I love it - wish they still had it in the blue too!

This jacket/blouse is so beautiful and was actually very flattering on me, but I had to return it. The problem is the raw silk material: As soon as I tried it on, I noticed that the nubby strands of fibers were already starting to unravel and pill. Just from me trying it on for about 2 minutes, the back looked pilled and fuzzy and damaged. I can only imagine that the jacket would look awful within a few wearings. Such a shame, because it really was gorgeous.
