Two Star Dog Reversible Coat - Double-Faced Wool (For Women)

First off, the name is a misnomer - this is really a long jacket, not a coat. The fabric is too thin to wear as an outer layer unless it's in the 60's or you're really warm blooded. That was fine for me, I wanted a jacket for work. The designed looked versatile and stylish, but the sizing was off. I'm a 36A and generally wear a size 6-8 top. I ordered both the S and M sizes in this coat. Even the small was way too big across the chest. Partly this is due to the dolman sleeves, but this is also cut very roomy. I've had other dolman sleeved tops where the sleeves were much trimmer. Also, the neckline looked to me like a stand-up collar, but it's not. It's a flat rounded, jewel neck, but with with a band. Maybe this would fit women with much larger chests than mine, and fuller arms. On the plus side, the double sided wool had a nice hand and the reversability is a cool feature. I had to pass on this item.

I keep my house chilly and work is chilly too so I intended to wear this indoors. This coat is nice and light - one thickness because it is reversible. Like someone else mentioned sort of like a big sweater. It was a little big on me which made it unflattering, I would have liked to have tried on a smaller one. I wanted to keep it but sent it back.

The fabric is not itch-free merino, but it's soft and naturally beautiful with a lovely drape. I love wool and don't mind feeling the fiber a little. The dolman sleeves give plenty of room for layering and movement in this smart unstructured design. (I usually wear a medium and bought the small.) I expect to wear it a lot, especially since it has both a dark and light neutral side. Very nice.

This coat is made of great fabric and the ability to reverse it is fun. My only criticism is that the sleeve style makes the coat less fitted and somewhat less flattering, but is part of the design and still stylish. I would order smaller than you usually wear. I had to move the buttons for a better fit.
