Two Star Dog Shawl Collar Jacket - Fleece (For Women)

I love this jacket. It's nicely fitted and way more classy than a regular fleece. It runs large. I generally wear a size 6 and ordered this in extra small. It fit perfectly. I do wish is had some sort of closure. That's my only criticism. This is not super heavy so will be nice for spring and fall weather, as well as cool evenings in summer.

The fleece is nice and soft, and the jacket drapes well - but there is no way to close it (unless with the delicate little pin - which won't hold for long). If you NEED a warm coat, this isn't it - if you need a very light layer, this is fine.

This is the kind of layer you want to put on in the morning and never take off. Love the deep pockets and sumptuous fabric & color. It is hard to find comfy unconstructed clothes with style, and this does it!

Purchased this in Java, size XL, as an alternative to a zippered, parka-type jacket that I purchased at the same time, but returned. Was looking for a less utilitarian, more feminine looking jacket and this is a good choice with its soft drape. Weight is perfect for northern CA. Interesting use of the fleece fabric on the sleeves and front, which are structured using the differently textured sides of the fleece fabric. Love the pockets on both sides. Cut with generous overlap on the front panels. The collar could have been improved somewhat by a partial double layer of fabric to provide both extra warmth and stability, and I may add some Velcro tab closure.

This item runs very large - - it lacks body for the fabric and I returned.
