Started with hopeful vision, Two Star Dog began when brothers Allan and Steven Boutrous moved to Berkeley in 1992 and began creating jeanswear made of eco-friendly hemp, a resource that can be cultivated with little or no pesticides. Later the company became one of the first in the country to design and market complete sportswear lines made from this fiber. I love this easy sturdy linen pants...you can dress them up or down. I only payed 19.95 though..not sure I would pay 50 for them...but at 20, what a steal! :D also they have an elastic inset in the back which makes theman easy fit for any body type...these will be my spring favorites. I am 5'5 138lbs healthy with curves and ordered the size S which fits me great at the waist, or when I pull them down and use the elastic on my hips. Love these! and they're super sturdy, not "see through linen".

Finally a pair of pants that works for me. While these are considered ankle pants, they are the perfect length for a shorter person (I'm 5'2"). I have a slimmer waist, so the elastic in the back of the waist is a blessing; it assures there isn't that irritating gap so often found in most pants today. The fabric is soft, and there is room to move for hiking. These fit me really well, and I've ordered another pair in the ecru.
