    I have been a competitive swimmer for over 20 years, and love TYR suits. I didn't realize this suit was polyester when I bought it, however. I like lycra suits. They stretch better, fit better. Polyester is very stiff. I am 5'4", 120 and usually buy a 30 for competitive swimming. Polyester doesn't give or stretch out, so it is very snug, which for me is usually good, but this suit doesn't stretch at all. On the other hand, it should be very durable and last much longer if that is what you are looking for. Personally, I need to go buy another suit now that is lycra.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I'm a Size 4, 100 lbs. and ordered three suits in a Size 30. After barely squeezing past my hips, the torso was too short for my 5'3" frame which caused the shoulder straps to cut into my shoulders. The quality seems durable, I just wished my size was available. I've sinced returned all the suits. As mentioned, the sizes run small.

    this is a great swim suit. I am honestly not very good at working out, except for water aerobics, it feels so good and I never hurt the next day so I keep coming back, and I don't even swim. So I need swimwear that holds up to being in the chlorine 3 to 5 days a week. this one seems to be holding up well.
