It has a number of problems that caused me to return it unused. The lamp itself is easy to use, bright, and the red light feature is part of the reason I purchased it. However, the tabs that connect the front half of the band to the back are like those you find on the back of a ballcap, and mine would not stay connected while wearing it around the house. In addition, the lamp housing and battery box seem quite flimsy, while the hinge that connects the two and allows for different lighting angles was loose and would not hold a position. Too bad--I really like the looks and functionality, but the craftsmanship is incomplete.

It seems awesome, but I only gave it four stars because I haven't really tried it in field. I'm a little concerned if it will hold up to the duck hunting rigors, but it does put out some really nice light.

Super easy to get a good fit, the light is bright and the adjustable positioning of the lamp is a nice feature. Comfortable and solidly built . . . this is a great deal for a quality headlamp. Going to buy another for my daughter.
