    Don't know if it came to me leaking, or when I first took it out of the box I turned or pressed slightly. I handled it with the safety on briefly, a while later I rubbed my eye. You can imagine what happened. This was user-error in that I should have washed hands after touching it - however - this product is designed to go in a purse, subject to much bumping and jostling.

    Hard to know how this will work in an emergency. I walk early in the morning and am concered about bears. I have not had to use this yet. I will say its a good size, would easily fit in a pocket or purse. Its also a good price.
