I'm going to give this 5 stars just for the peace of mind in having it available should any pepper spray use go terribly wrong. We travel with pepper spray as we camp and are on guard for any creatures that may intend to do us harm. So far we have not had to use any of either.

I use this for demo purpose only with other inert units. I have not used this for actual pepper spray. This is a good size unit to have in the purse or backpack. Doesn't take up a lot of room and the trigger mechanism is simple to use. Most people carry water in bottles or canisters and I would suggest using those for initial flush and then use this for localized decontamination

This is actually a gift to my brother's dog. I am giving my brother the pepper spray. The dog might run into the cloud, if it is used. This might offer the dog some measure of relief. We have black bear, eastern mountain panther, an occasional coyote, and feral house cats: all of which don't always take no for an answer. Hence, the pepper spray. As I say, the antidote to the pepper spray is for the dog.

Until I need it I can't really testify to it's effectiveness. More like an insurance policy. It makes me feel good that I have it if I get exposed to the bear pepper spray I carry when hiking.
