  • “What is the lining for these boots? Is it wool?”
Asked by Anonymous from Arizona on 10/12/2014 5:30:29 PM
    • the lining is heavier plaid fabric...not quite wool, but it does make it a little softer. then the bottom on the inside has the classic ugg sheepskin. pretty toasty walking around, though not sure how insulated it would be in super cold climates... but probably great with wool socks! super comfy.

    • The lining around the ankle and leg is fabric, but the FOOTBED (only) is sheepskin. They are very comfortable walking/working boots, not 'cozy' boots.

    • The inside sole is shearling and the inside lining is leather. I wore these boots all over Scotland and while in London I wore them all day (about 12hours) on the tube, walking the entire city and had no problems.. the shoes were very comfortable. I have an extremely high instep and I had the boots stretched at the top of the boot at a boot repair shop...and that did the trick...they were perfect after that.

    • Not wool, just leather.

  • “Is the suede top stretchy?”
Asked by ingrid from texas on 8/25/2014 4:49:21 PM
    • The suede top is not stretchy although, it will expand a little with wear as most leather. It is fairly thick and good quality, so it may take a while to get softer. Hope that helps.

    • I would not at all describe it as "stretchy" -- it is leather suede (not a fabric), so it will stretch only to the degree that leathers stretch -- rather minimal, if at all.

About UGG® Australia

The beloved UGG® Australia brand was created by Brian Smith, who first introduced UGG® boots to Southern California in 1978. These comfy, easygoing sheepskin boots made a big splash in the West Coast market. Within a few years, the boots began showing up in Colorado ski lodges and continued to make their way east. Thanks to the incredible comfort and natural breathability of sheepskin, folks love wearing UGG® shoes and boots all year long. By the early 2000s, UGG® Australia footwear had made it all the way from California to New York, and the product range has since expanded to include slippers, clogs and even sandals. Today, UGG® boots and slippers are available across the globe. Show your feet some love with footwear from UGG® Australia.
