Ulu Crow Winter Boots - Waterproof Insulated (For Women)

This is a very nice looking boot, and real fleece is absolutely sumptuous. However, despite ordering a half size large, the fit wasn't right. It was plenty long enough, but it was tight over the arch of my foot, so much so, that I have returned it. I have a high arch and wide feet (Birkenstocks feel great), and perhaps that was the problem. If you have a high instep, this likely isn't the boot for you. If you have a low arch or no arch, you might not even need to size up, because the length didn't seem to be the problem.

These boots do not run small. They are tight over the instep but this is reversed very quickly upon wearing -1 day in fact!. I do not, therefore, recommend ordering 1/2 size up. They are not a snug fit so one can wear thick socks. The outer binding is actually functional -use to adjust fitting. Have worn them in the past few days of snow in Pittsburgh -in the evening time 3+mile walks and they are very comfortable. In all a very good boot at an excellent price. Very satisfied!

I bought black - it has shearling down to the toes & a shearling footbed This boot is def. NOT running small. I wear an 8.5/9 - I end up in 9s if the shoes are narrow as I have wider feet. These are very true 9s and are really big on me. I was too lazy and missed the 8.5's, bummer. I'll probably just make due with the 9s, although my feet look huge :)Def. cozy

I have been looking for a boot like this for 3 years. I wanted something waterproof to wear in the snow while playing, snoshoeing etc, and also something I could wear around town on a snowy day with jeans. I finally found both in this boot. I was beginning to think I couldn't find it, then here it was! I also tend to have hot feet and wore these all day, inside and out. I loved the warmth and breathability! I was really surprised.

These are very cozy - I bought the Black boots in size 9. They have shearling around the whole foot (top/sides & footbed). Wonder if it varies by color? I don't think they are running small - the size 9 seem like a true 9. I wear a 8.5 or 9, because my feet are wide. but the nines have tons of room, I may even buy the 8.5 to compare. I bought these after buying a la canadienne style I was disappointed with. The express return ROCKED!

Boots run a little large. Had to reorder 1/2 size down from suggested size. Comfortable and have great style.

I do love these boots. They are very cute and comfortable. I like the laces so that I can snug up the boots for long walks. However, the boots do not run small as stated on the website. I ordered my regular size, and they fit well with thick socks. Without the thick socks, they aren't snug enough to take long walks, and I am a walker.

The boot looks nice,but sizing isn't correct. I wear a 7 and ordered a 6.5 and they seem a little long. Also, the top of the boot seems tight over the top of my foot. I am hoping it will stretch overtime. I won't be able to wear thick socks with these. But, they look good with jeans and probably the right skirt.

Even though I am returning these boots, I would still recommend them. They are attractive, fit well (even without sizing up as recommended) and were warm during my test-wear around the house. The adjustable tie does a nice job of snugging the shaft of the boot. They have a robust tread. However, when I read that they were shearling-lined, I thought it referred to the entire boot. It does not. The shaft and footbed are shearling-lined, but the rest of the foot is not. I realize it is still well-insulated, but I specifically wanted my foot to be surrounded by shearling. If that doesn't matter to you, then I highly recommend these.
