Ulu Portillo Boots - New Zealand Shearling (For Women)

We are avid RVers and heat doesn't work well while underway, so feet and ankles freeze in cold motoring. These boots cover the territory with great comfort and warmth.

I wanted some warm boots for cold mornings and these are perfect. Added bonus: they have some support unlike other brands.

Used when we got lots of snow and wanted some warmer boots for my feet! Added more waterproofing once they arrived after first day out and thought they could use it.

These are my favorite pair of boots I own, and let me tell you...I own quite a few. They are right up there with my Uggs, yet almost a little more comfortable and definitely lighter weight. The only draw back is that this light color does get dirty quickly, but if you brush them frequently, the dust and dirt will be less likely to settle in and cause staining. FYI...they are truly waterproof! I played out in nearly knee-deep snow with my daughter and my feet remained completely dry and warm. Best boots ever!!

I bought these boots on a whim (and a sale price)along with several other pairs of shoes. While the others are going back, I love these boots! The shearling feels soft and cozy and they actually are more comfortable than my 15-year-old shearling slippers (plus I can wear them outside.) The style is quite boxy, and the color is so light that I'm afraid they'll get stained easily, but I've waterproofed them and look forward to wearing them a lot. There's decent support in the foot and they're big enough to tuck in leggings or skinny jeans. I find them to be cuter than Uggs and more practical.

I bought these boots to wear up at our cabin in the Winter. They are perfect for slipping on to go outside with the kids, shovel or wear out to a restaurant. Warm boot with a bit more style...can wear with jeans easily.

These are so good that I'd actually rate them better than Ugg boots. The arch support is great as is the traction, which are both weaknesses of the Ugg boots. If you use a water-proofing spray on the boots before you use them, they will be somewhat water-proof. The boots run a little big, so order a half size down from your usual shoe size.

I use the boots for all items listed under "Pros", "Best Uses" and "Gear Usage". Having other boots for truly wet conditions, I have not used these in "Wet Conditions" as they are so good for all I listed that I did not want to risk damaging them. I have used them in 8 inch snow. I purchased two pairs, one for me and one for my daughter. We have different tastes, but in this case we both agree in how much we like these boots.

I wasn't so sure about these at first, but after wearing for a while..they break in nicely. There's plenty of room for heavy socks if needed. The only thing I would suggest is more arch support. However, that can be easily added. Glad I bought them and decided to keep them. Well worth the price paid.
