    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    These boots seemed almost perfect except for VERY uncomfortable/scratchy seams on the insides of the boots. I personally prefer wearing fleecy boots without socks so this was a major problem for me. If you wear socks with these boots, it might not be as bad.
