Ulu Salo Cowhide Shoes (For Women)

very cute on, a little wide and stiff but will probably soften up. Also extremely light weight and nice tread for walking.

I followed the instructions and ordered the next larger size. Since I'm an 8.5, this worked out fine. At first I thought the shoes would be too big and clunky, but they worked out perfectly for my feet, both in size and width. I have difficulty walking, but these shoes were not only comfortable, but solid underfoot with good support and no slippage. At first they seem stiff & I thought this would rub, but I've had no problems with that and the shoes feel great. I especially love the cow hide. I did seal the shoe with a silicone spray and after a day in the rain yesterday, they did fine. The fatter sole also helped keep me above the wet.

I had to return these. They were very cute, but also uncomfortable b/c the tongue was very stiff & was sticking into the front of my ankle.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. They are a hair shorter than I like, but they did not come in half sizes and a whole size would have been too large. Everyone notices them!

I was surprised other reviewers found the size accurate. I can't wear them without an extra insole, and have actually used two at once! They are super comfy then. If I made these the only improvement I'd make is a bigger, spongy heel for a little more height.

These are perfect. I was broken-hearted when you ran out of the big sizes as I wanted to buy them for my daughters. I have black and white landseer newfoundlands...I will wear shoes that match them to their dog shows. Can't wait.
