“I find that these boots are true to size, and in fact DO have good traction. I live in Michigan. I wore my new boots in a snowstorm and they kept my feet warm and dry. In the aftermath of freezing and thawing, these boots were champs. I haven't slipped at all on my icy driveway and I have tested them on lots of icy patches, just to be sure. I don't even notice that these boots are on my feet which I think is a good measure of a fine fit. They have moderate arch support - I have a very high arch -and my feet don't get tired in these boots. Also, they look nice! The laces provide some choice as to how tightly or loosely you want them to hug your calf. I recommend them wholeheartedly!”
