    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    These boots are very light and seem to be quite warm. They claim they are waterproof which I have not tested yet. I bought them to wear to work up in Northern MN where our temps average below zero. So, not sure yet if they will do the job. One negative is that my arches are very high and the top of my foot hit on the top of the inside of the boot. HOwever, I anticipate the lining will pack down after a bit and this won't be an issue. It's hard to find an attractive boot which withstands MN winters, but this might be the one!
