    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought this to light my house numbers... It has a very weak light, and even when it is very dark the light dose NOT illuminate the numbers and it was placed 3" above the numbers on my home. I would not recommend this product. It might be okay as a night light in a hall if you can navigate well in the dark.
