Reviewed by Cathleen from Minnesota on Sunday, February 23, 2014Gave this to my niece and she just loves it! Is it a little frilly - yes - and this is obvious in the picture. It is nicely done though and a great choice for an apron when you still want to look nice and dressed up!
Reviewed by Almaty Diver from Indonesia on Tuesday, November 19, 2013The polyester trim is impractical. What kind of apron needs to be washed in cold water and dried in low heat? Potholder is ridiculously thin.
Reviewed by Hiker Chic from Cambridge, MA on Thursday, November 22, 2012This apron is a bit silly--if that's what you're looking for, then you've found it. I ordered the magenta/pink one because I didn't like the idea of a mostly white apron (for the staining potential). The fabric quality was rough and cheap, the "pot holder" was thin enough to be nearly useless, and the apron's details just seemed overdone. The wrap/ribbon tie closure was cheap weight shiny poly fabric. While okay-looking once you have it done and wrapped around, it seemed too cumbersome to wrap/unwrap any time you want to take the thing on or off quickly, and the ties are REALLY long, like maybe 4-5' long on each side. Where are you going to hang it in a kitchen that the ties wouldn't drag on the floor? Otherwise you'd have to take the time to stuff them into the front pockets to hang up. It's almost more of a recurring kitchen hazard than a decorative detail, and certainly not a practical use item. I was looking for a primarily functional and also attractive item, so I returned it.
Reviewed by D. Prairie from Manitoba on Tuesday, October 9, 2012This was my first apron, so not sure about how it relates to others. But it looks awesome, I got the black and red one, the satin tie is really long, enough to double over my size 14 waist. I got lots of compliments at cdn thanksgiving last weekend.
