The waters were very cold and the weather ranged from cold, damp and rainy to sunny, hot and sweaty. They were always comfortable, never sticky and they kept me dry. They are soft and not itchy. I did not get chills or overheat. They did not take on odors. When I returned home I prompty ordered 3 more pairs. They are somewhat delicate and should be hand washed. I made the mistake of machine washing them and one seam needed repair. My bad. Since then I hand wash. I have worn them on several other flyfishing trips and they work great. Very pleased with this purchase.
