I am 6'4" and wear a 34/35 sleeve. Van Laack shirts fit me well, and I like the striking fabrics and colors they use. Here is the "scoop" on this particular item: These shirts are NOT made of thick flannel. Color 04 is a blue/grey plaid in a brushed fabric- it feels like a cross between a standard cotton and nice lightweight flannel. A great shirt! I bought color 01 and it did not have the same brushed finish, it feels more like standard cotton sport shirts. A nice shirt that I kept, but it was inaccurately described.
If you are slim and plan to dry clean your Van Laack shirt the tailored fit in your usual size should work, but if you launder at home and plan to wear this shirt tieless ordering up in size might work out better. One accidental spin in the dryer can really shrink this brand, though some fabrics do so more than others.

This product is very thin for a flannel shirt. Not up to usual Van Laak standards.

About Van Laack

In 1881, Heinrich van Laack established a shirt company with two partners. Van Laack’s vision was to manufacture some of the best men’s dress shirts in the world. More than a century later, this distinguished German brand is still doing exactly that. Van Laack shirts represent more than a century of dedication to premium-quality textiles and meticulous tailoring. In 2002, Van Laack clothing was acquired by a textile manufacturer named Christian von Daniels, who has continued to evolve and refine the Van Laack shirt company into the globally recognized brand it is today.
