Vasque Aether Trail Running Shoes (For Men)

I purchased these shoes for my 16-year-old grandson to use in his training in JROTC. He loves them and says they have been comfortable allowing him to run many miles mostly on pavement with some rough terrain.

The look is as good as the picture. After a 6 mile running I found they are very good. Mesh upper is breathable, very good traction. The only thing I am not satisfied is there is not enough cushioning of the sole, the innersole is a little bit too thin. Otherwise I'll give a 5 star.

They work great.

I'm a flat foot and the over ambitious arch support in these coupled with a lack of ankle support made these a one day misadventure. Still looking for a comfortable walking shoe for street use...

I wear these everyday for work on rocky Ozark trails.

Great shoes, very light and comfortable but still with great traction and support.

Good cushioning and looks to be durable

Vasque & Nike- good for us flat footers.

Bought these for my runs on dirt/gravep roads. Great traction, comfortable, nice protection underfoot, especially compared to my road shoes. These shoes are highly rated by both Outside (gear of the year) and Runner's World magazines in their "tech" forms, (boa lacing system, or softshell uppers). The tech forms use exactly the same platform as these. Personally, I'd rather have these for the price (compare to [$] for the others). I'd have given these a 5 except I find them somewhat ugly, but I just use them for running, so no real biggy.

Good shoe for trail running and step classes. Don't like as well as my last pair of Vasque trail runners.
