I have other Vasques but these did not fit though they were the same size. They felt clunky and not like low hikers. I returned them a while ago but never heard a word about a refund.

These shoes are light and comfortable! They are also perfect for walking through wet grassy areas. I wear them every morning while walking/hiking with my dog.

A little more narrow than my old Vasque hikers...Nice lightweight...I kept them, but probably would have liked half a size bigger.

I have worn Vasque boots in the past and have always liked them. They tend to wear out on the bottoms but have always fit well even right from the box. I am planning a high altitude hike so thought I would purchase the Vasque Breeze, thinking they would be lighter. They fit well from the beginning but I was disappointed as to how heavy they were. They were as heavy as the mid-height Vasque boots I have worn in the past. I will still use them for local hiking as they are sturdy and comfortable but will need to find something lighter for my feet when elevation and longer hikes are on the agenda. The advertsising for the Breeze as being a "lightweight alternative" is definitely not an accurate description of this shoe.

I gave these a tryout on a small mountain hike. The terrain alternates between lots of slippery dead leaves, a rocky ballast surface, and a smooth granite surface. These shoes handled it all well. Plenty of room for my toes, so they didn't feel stubbed on the way down. They do feel a little more roomy than my last pair (which was the same size) but that was a good thing for me. Very happy with these!
