I hike 4-5 days per week in the Tetons and was so tired of blisters, toe problems, etc. Finally went back to Vasque after my last pair wore out years ago. (I had tried many other brands, none of which lasted very long and all gave me blisters or downhill toe smash.) These boots required no break in...

Did not fit properly so I had to return them. I am a standard 6 length and my big toe rubbed. My foot is a little wide but normally fine in sneakers. My small toe was also rubbing on the side. Not the right shoe for me unfortunately.

I live in ottawa, it is cold here. These shoes are very hot on the feet, they do not seem to breath. As much as I love the sturdiness of them, I cannot imagine wearing them out when there is no snow on the ground. They are waterproof so far. But I have another pair of waterproof hiking shoes that are not as hot, would go back to these if I was going on a long hike. I fear my sweating feet would slide around in these.

I've only had these shoes for about two weeks but so far they seem to be working out great. They were very stiff when I put them on but they were true to size as far as fit goes. I did manage to wear them all day without getting any blisters. They have continued to remain on the stiff side but they are just about broken in. They give my feet a lot of support. I haven't gone hiking in them yet or had the chance to get them wet. I'm leaving on vacation in two weeks and expect that they will be perfect for two weeks of hiking in Malta, Gozo, Sicily, and Italy.
