I hike 4-5 days per week in the Tetons and was so tired of blisters, toe problems, etc. Finally went back to Vasque after my last pair wore out years ago. I've only had these shoes for about two weeks but so far they seem to be working out great. They were very stiff when I put them on but they were true to size as far as fit goes. I did manage to wear them all day without getting any blisters. They have continued to remain on the stiff side but they are just about broken in. They give my feet a lot of support. I haven't gone hiking in them yet or had the chance to get them wet. I'm leaving on vacation in two weeks and expect that they will be perfect for two weeks of hiking in Malta, Gozo, Sicily, and Italy.

I initially ordered these in a size 8, a half size up from my usual 7.5. But narrow feet forced me to exchange for the 7.5. They fit great! Enough room for thick socks, but my feet aren't sliding around. The shoes are a little stiff initially, but that's to be expected with a Gore-tex hiker like this. Very lightweight and overall a quality trail shoe!
