Vasque Equalizer Hiking Shoes (For Men)

The rubber soles leaves black mark when you are walking on tile, gym, carpets..ets

The quick lace system is over-rated. This is TWO systems and very hard to manipulate. It is not quick at all. The last pair I had was a Soloman brand. I would not buy this style of Vasque again.

Bought these because of the Vasque quality name AND the speed lacing system. We'll see. . .Fit, as a 10.5, seems good (I wear a 9.5 normally!), but the lacing isn't so speedy so far becuase the entire boot/shoe is still tight. Hoping this'll ease when they break-in some. Nice quality and style. . .

These shoes do run small so order a size up! Otherwise, great shoe!

It is an attractive shoe to look at. But I believe the designers had more of a background in design, than in having actual experience with outdoor activities. Many of the features seem more for appearance, than for functionality. The pull tab in back is one example. If one were to use it for its obvious purpose (to help in inserting ones foot), and even used minimal effort, the tab would most certainly rip apart from the shoe itself. But with all this taken into consideration, I am still pleased with the purchase. It truly is a beautiful shoe to look upon.

The strap at the top of the foot that crosses back and forth is hard to get tight and the little metal guide plates are not made well, the one on my left shoe arrived bent right out of the box. The nylon web strap doesn't guide well through it and gets bound up on one side of the guide plate.

Product was returned did not fit followed your recommendation to add 1/2 size and shoe was too large. This was a disappointing experience. It will be awhile before I order shoes again from you. Very disappointing experience.
