3.0 out of 5 stars. Well built boot - seem narrowVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Washington State on Monday, March 27, 2017I was excited to try on this pair of boots! I usually wear a 6-6.5 medium in just about everything (cowboy boots, muck boots, running/trail shoes, etc). However I purchased a size 7 medium to allow enough room to wear thicker socks while out on cold weather hunts/treks. I was disappointed when the right boot was too narrow for my foot putting pressure on my right little tow. The boots seem to be really well built, lightweight and offer great foot/ankle support. I'm disappointed that STP doesn't offer a wider size in this boot. Looks like I'll be returning :/

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not true to extra wide sizingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from West Virginia on Saturday, January 7, 2017These are beautiful boots, and I so wanted them to fit, but the wide sizing was still not as wide as comparable other brands. So had to sadly return these! If your foot runs wide, this may not be a good purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfort & controlReviewed by Karen from Southern New Mexico on Sunday, October 30, 2016I have been hiking with these great boots about a year now. I get in a couple of long hikes each week. The terrain is desert mountains in New Mexico & I have not been let down once. I love the idea of putting my foot down & knowing there will be no slipping, my foot is secure. They fit perfect & even after hours of rock & cactus my feet are comfortable & safe. They work for me!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Too smallReviewed by kt from Stow, OH on Wednesday, September 14, 2016I wear 8.5 wide. I purchased a 9 wide (EUR 40). The toe box is too narrow for me. The boot itself is beautiful. However, once I put a couple of miles walking around my neighborhood, I determined my feet would be miserable on hills. My toes kept hitting the front. Because they are worn for a few miles around the block, I can't return them.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Solid BootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Terry from TN on Monday, September 12, 2016Just returned from a 15-day backpacking trip to Isle Royale, where I wore a pair of Vasque St. Elias GTX I bought last yr. My feet tend to be narrow. Little toes rubbed in the St. Elias. They had great support, are sturdy and pretty light. But they soaked through on the trip and were not quite sturdy enough for bushwhacking with 40 pounds. So when I saw these on sale for $110, I couldn't pass them up. Slightly taller than the St. Elias, more rubber protection, the leather seems more substantial, heel has a little more flair, the toe box area is roomy in height and the width seems a bit more little toe friendly without being too wide. Anticipate these working perfectly for bushwhacking with heavy pack! Both models fit true to size. Normally wear 9.5 and these fit perfect. I'm a 5'7" 145lb 59 y/o athletic female.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Ordered a wide, still too narrowVerified Buyer Reviewed by Highlands from California on Thursday, August 25, 2016I ordered these boots in my true size of 7 and went with the wide as I read many reviewstudents that Vasqes run narrow. They were still way to Narrow!
