Vasque Flurry Trail Boots - Waterproof Insulated (For Women)

These are comfortable boots that are great for hiking. I only wore them once walking the dogs before I took them on a hike and they were fine. They are light weight enough to trail run, but have a good tread and ankle support.

My plan is to simply wear the shoes for bush walks.

My wife has a small hard to find size.

I have only tried these boots out of the box, but am very pleased with how they look and feel. I have not yet tested the boots for waterproofing, but I trust Vasque as a brand. I have small feet[...] I did have the opportunity to try a Size 6 Vasque and determined that they were a size too big, so I was pretty confident that my order for a 5-1/2 would work which they do. Contrary to other posts, my advice about sizing would be to order a half size down from what you wear in an athletic/running shoe (I wear a Mizuno Size 6 running shoe).

Nice boots. Watchout for fit. These boots run small. Ordered size 6 but don't fit even a size 5 foot. Order at least one and a half sizes up (I am not exaggerating). Otherwise great.

These shoes are very nice but run small. I wear a size 6, purchased a 6.5 and it was too tight with medium socks. I would recommend a full size larger. Had to send them back.

I wore these boots in a mixture of snow/ice/mud in the woods. They were great. While still having the flexibility to run short distances, they were waterproof and rugged enough to take the briars and brush that I was in and out of. This is my third pair of Vasques. While they all don't have the best arch support, they fit best for me with sock liner and hiking sock.

I'm very much girly girl, and I was hesitant on ordering these do to the looks. However, when I got them I was very surprised how well they go with my jeans, they really blend. I tried them out on the snow and after the second time of wearing them that same day my feet got a little cold. However, I was just wearing regular socks, so maybe with thermals they'll be perfect. --Can't wait to try them on more snow. -I also did order 1/2 size bigger, and it was a good choice. -If you're short, they'll add some height. Great, b/c I'm only 5'3! -The only complaint that I have is that these boots ate up my whole foot. They make me look like I have toothpick legs and they look like they're too big for me, but actually they're perfect fit. However, I am 5'3 and weigh 106lbs. On jeans, of course you can't see that, however, on shorts that's another story. --this is the only reason I gave these a 4 instead of 5 stars.

I think this is a nice shoe, but it would be more helpful to have more accurate shoe sizes
