5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Relaxed HikerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lokimika from Honeoye Falls, NY on Tuesday, December 20, 2016I needed a more casual hiker boot for my shorter, more leisurely (i.e., more of a walk) type of hikes. This fits the bill. Seems to keep the water out so far. You definitely need to size up by one-half size due to the boot running small.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Wish they fit!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Northern California on Monday, December 12, 2016I really wanted to like these boots. They're extraordinarily light and attractive and they seem very well-constructed. Unfortunately, one boot tongue fell just in the wrong spot that irritated an old ankle injury (which I didn't even realize was still an issue until I tried these boots on) and the other boot felt a smidge too small in the toe. Maybe if I had worn them in for a few days, the ankle injury would have ceased to be aggravated, but it wasn't worth the risk. And it's possible I needed to go up one half size. I typically wear size 6 shoes and got these in 6.5. A 7 wasn't available so I'll never know. I hope they fit someone right because they're really nice boots!

5.0 out of 5 stars. comfyVerified Buyer Reviewed by tiny from Montana on Friday, October 28, 2016The boots felt a little tight when I 1st put them on. During my 1st 3 mile hike on a gravel road, the shoes felt wonderful. They
are very light weight and the bottoms are very grippy. I predict many miles of hiking in my future. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Good, durable and comfortable boots!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from San Francisco on Friday, September 16, 2016I used this boots for my hiking and backpacking trip in Banff and Jasper and hikes over a 100 miles over a period of 2 weeks and the boots held up well. They were used over some rugged and wet terrain. The waterproofing works and Vibram sole offers good grip over moraine and scree terrains equally well. Overall, I am pretty pleased with my purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Boot for the PriceVerified Buyer Reviewed by SlipperyPete from New Orleans on Saturday, September 10, 2016Cool waterproof boot with Gortex lining! Have not worn them enough to provide a full report but they do run at least 1/2 size small.

1.0 out of 5 stars. problem with tongue paddingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mountain Martha from New Mexico on Thursday, September 1, 2016I wanted to love these boots and thought I would after trying them on...but after three short hikes I realized there is something wrong with the tongue padding and/or pressure points on these boots and the way they hit the top of my foot. In, three short hikes and I was developing a bruise on the top of my foot! Serious problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kathleen from Oregon on Monday, August 1, 2016They fit great and feel great. It took me a moment to learn how to tie them correctly in order to fit good. I like that you can tie them many different ways to make them snug in different areas. These boots grip the ground wonderfully. I don't slip at all. I bought a half size bigger then what I normally wear (same as running shoes).
