He loves the "huge tread" and I love the stability the shoes provide while he's climbing trees, riding bikes, running, jumping, digging, and all the rest! They are even lightweight enough for summer wear, and seem to be breathable. They come with bungee pulls or regular tie up laces, so he can put them on by himself now, but as he learns to tie, we'll be able to switch the laces! Love them.
