Vasque Lightspeed Trail Running Shoes (For Women)

Clearish rubber/plastic trim on shoe was discolored red in spots. Also, "glue" spots on top of shoe. Returned for another pair, same thing without the glue spots, so returned those, too. Otherwise a great shoe.

Very Impressed with these shoes. I love them.

Wonderful shoes, a little tight but provides a snug fit that doesn't allow your foot move even on steep down hill runs......

As previous comments suggest, it is difficult to get the foot into the shoe, but this also keeps the rocks out. Mid-stiff sole, good traction, very breathable and one of the two shoes has a bit of a rubbing seam at the base of the lace trim, right above my toes. Overall, not the best trail runner I have worn, but with hike with them.

These shoes, even after printing the sizing chart, to me are a little long. Other than the length of the shoe the fit is perfect to hold the foot and heal in reduce rubbing and helps stabilize the foot increasing the traction. It cushioned my run on the rough terrain but the insole is a little stiff but after a few runs it wasn't so hard and gently formed my foot. I use this product for running trails and on the road. I find that it is better on the trails than on the road. Perfect for uneven and varying ground cover (rocks, roots, leaves, grass). I love that my feet don't get as hot... the mesh airs out my feet as I run giving air conditioning to my feet.
