Vasque Summit Gore-Tex® Hiking Boots - Waterproof (For Men)

Order boots for backpacking trip. Broke them in during work, which involved standing from 10-13 hours per day. Typically that results in sore and tired legs and feet. But, not with these boots.....They are wonderful!

These are great boots, served me very well over the past year. I used them as winter boots during the snowy weather, and hiked in them summer. I also wore them just around quite a bit, as they're so comftorable. My two complaints are this: After "topping" the boots with water (getting water in them during a flood), they began to smell, despite how well I dried them. Attempts at killing the smell failed. My second: I was walking along, and the lace caught on something (I'm still not sure what). I tripped, and when I got up, I looked at my boot, and there was a tear, right at the bottom of the laces, about two inches long. Other than those two issues, these are great boots. I have left a previous review, around 11 months ago.

I purchased these boots for a month long camping trip in UT, NV, and CA. They should be perfect!
