Consider yourself fortunate if you seem to be made for Vasque. They are stiff, and can be tiresomely difficult to break in, but if they seem to be made for you, or vice versa, you have found a boot that you can wear on almost any occasion. From daily wear to a three day backpacking trek, these boots are perfect. They are also always warm and dry thanks to their Gore Tex membrane and Thinsulate lining. I have stood for hours comfortably in icy wet conditions. I have also schlepped for hours through the New Mexican desert without my feet feeling over-heated. My favorite thing about them is the roomy toebox. I am lucky. I can wear them right out of the box.

Waking in light trails and pavement during colder wet periods. I would stay away from Vasque products in the future. Very uncomfortable, stiff like having your ankles taped and shoved into CPVC tubing. This was an exchange bc the first pair leaked. Sierra Trading has outstanding service and products. Vasque just makes a horrible product now.
“Do you have these men's Vasque boots in wide width (W). I know that Vasque makes the boots in Wide...and they seem to really work for my husband|He now wears Vasque hiking boots in 10.5 W and would like to purchase another pair of Vasque boots ....his favorite brand. |I do not see the width listed in Vasque boots in other than "medium". Just checking with you to make sure that I am not missing something here.”
