Vasque Townie Light Trail Shoes (For Women)

I bought these for a friend who needs good support, but doesn't want shoes that look like support shoes. She is over 250 lbs and has back trouble. I am surprised at them because I thought Vasque was known for good supportive shoes. These shoes have almost no padding inside, but I replaced the insole with a foam arch support. I find them comfortable but not stable enough to walk in for long. My friend cannot go for walks in them, she finds them unstable and not supportive enough, but likes how they look and may wear on social occasions.

I bought these for my friend. She has a bad back and needed something for support. These shoes were perfect for her needs. They are lightweight and very stable. Plus they are a nice blue color and are true to size.

The shoe style is awesome and probably my favorite part, but I have worn them to the gym and they're great. I haven't worn them on any trail runs or hikes, but that was the purpose of buying them and I believe they will hold up great for that as well.

These certainly are do not look like your average Vasque shoes (not a bad thing), but they have the comfort and wonderful support and cushioning that I expect from Vasque. Very cute shoes that your feet will love as well.
