    I ordered a half-size larger than my usual size and it was perfect. These shoes are best with a pair of midweight socks and then they are really comfortable. Perfect for day hikes over rocks such as we see often here in the northern Sierra Nevada.

    I love these shoes but was distressed when the cushioning at the heel wore out after only 6 months of use. I've worn them on city streets and rocky hiking paths, in sun and rain, and never had reason to complain until the heel wore out. I may still order another pair since I loved them so and the price is so low.

    I am almost always a true size 6 in a hiking boot but these ran small. I would have exchanged for a half-size larger but they were not in stock. They also run narrow, especially in the toebox. I thought the larger size might correct that, but I had to return as it was not available.

    These were my first pair of Vasque shoes and they are great so far. I tried them out as soon as I got them for a hike/approach to a climb. No need to break them in; felt comfortable for the 30 min hike on dirt trails and rocky terrain. My husband was surprised that the soles had the same traction like the bottom of a climbing shoe. Will definitely buy again.

    Great colors of black, gray, brown to match everything. There's subtle sprinkle of glitter in the black rubber that adds uniqueness and keeps them from being average trail/hiking/winter shoes. Great traction on the soles and the black toe and heel wrap is a huge plus. These are very nice shoes and were prettier than I expected. I highly recommend them at this price. Such a steal! True to size and width.
