Vasque Vector Gore-Tex® XCR® Trail Shoes - Waterproof (For Men)

Took a chance on men's sizing...I'm a 7.5 womens and saw a size 6 mens at a STEAL. I had just purchased boots that I was happy with but this deal was so good. I wore them on a wet, rugged hike. My feet were warm and dry and the traction was great with wet, snow covered leaves and rocks. I wish I could find this deal again!

normally i don't comment but this shoe was terrible. bought it last year and kept it in the box until a trip to scottish highlands and ireland this may. gore-tex, xcr, read the reviews here and was confident that these shoes would perform -NOT! the pair i received leaked. walking in both city and outdoor environments, i discovered that my shoes allowed moisture to enter. insoles, lining, interior, all became damp to outright wet. thank the gods for my wool socks! the right shoe was much worse than the left. i would also mention that this was not due to water going above the ankle but simply stepping in to wet ground. also as some report here, the moulding pulls away from the shoe (especially at the toe tips), until i too had to cut it off. overall, this shoe became untrustworthy and people who use gear know that they need trust.

These are light, and have great traction. I have issues with "stinky feet," and these have been wonderful.

I purchased these for my son who was going to sixth grade camp in the springtime. It was difficult to find a waterproof trail shoe in his size and these were perfect, not just in function, but in style for someone of his age. He has decided that he likes them better than his sneakers and has already asked if we can buy them again. This was my first order from Sierra Trading (I was referred by his bassoon teacher) and I will most certainly continue to check this supplier for other needs.

Nice fit, couldn't do better for the money

I got these boots for my son and he loves the fit and quality. I think he'll wear them for every day as well as hiking because of their fit and lightweight support.

I wear a women's 7.5 or 8 - I bought these in a size 6 and they fit great. They are great for Chicago winters.

My son could fit this size 6B, though he does not have narrow feet. Initially hurt his heels, but I think this is just wear-in. These are very tough and lightweight. He likes the rugged character and black color combined with lightweight. They play 'Warriors' in the open areas of the neighborhood.

I have always trusted the Vasque name and am once again I am greatly pleased and satisfied with the feel,comfort as well as the protection and support that this boot provides me with.
