But they are true to size, extremely comfortable and well made. I've always found Vasque products reliable and good-fitting.

I took advice from the other reviewers and first ordered a pair that was half a size larger than I normally wear. However they were much too large! So I exchanged them for the my normal size and they are still a bit big for my freet but okay with a good pair of thick socks. Otherwise they grip well and look nice and give great support!

My foot tends to be on the narrow side, and this boot was perfect for me. Nice and snug around the heal, moderate arch support, and room for the toes. The footbed is so comfortable and the structure offers the perfect balance of support and flexibility for a hiking shoe. I need a versatile shoe for everything from hiking to heavy yard work to mission service projects. This boot is perfect!
