Vasque Velocity Trail Running Shoes (For Women)

I got these to use during adverse weather (light rain or snow). I volunteer at a dog shelter and they work great for that experience. I can't though imagine these as running shoes.....

I needed to put other insoles in because the support provided was just a little off for my feet. Otherwise, they are great. I've been a wearing salomon's lately but because they wear out too quickly, I've made the switch to Vasque. And I'm happy!

every foot is different, but these were the most uncomfortable shoes of this genre ive ever worn. i gave them a couple weeks to break in, they softened up considerably but no luck. they have a hard and flat insole. i have very narrow feet, and my outer toes were rubbing against the sides, i think because something in the heel pushed my foot at a diagonal into the side. i could straighten my foot and take the pressure off, but they just didnt fit right. gave me horrible knee and back pain (not all their fault but good-fitting shoes dont do that). overall great quality, terrible fit for me...they might fit you!

Use for mild trail walking (some scrambling) and around town. Great stiff front shank so you do not "feel" uneven terrain in tender spot at ball of foot. Does not have a "rubber" protected toe box like my other hiking shoes so not sure how well they will wear when hiking on sharp larger rocks that tend to scuff and cut toe box (my leather hikers are shredded at the toe after years of use). A bit roomy so I am wearing thick hiking socks.

I'm using these shoes for daily walks on neighborhod side walks and also on wooded trails. They've been easy to break in and somewhat smaller than other Vasque trail shoes I own. They fit best with a thinner sock rather than the usual Smartwool hiking socks I wear.

I walk on trails,roads, concrete and this shoe seems to sense what it needs to do. It has been comfortable since the very first time out!

I've been running in the Vasque Velocity for over a year and have been very pleased. This pair is a replacement for the last I bought. I run rough trails w/plenty of roots and rocks and these shoes are perfect.

These shoes need no wearing in were comfortable straight away. Great traction. Sole not very flexible, this may be for stability. I use them for hiking and long walks through bush with my dogs. If you want to wear thick socks maybe go a half size bigger as these are a perfect fit with normal socks

I use these shoes to walk on hiking trails and they are just what I was looking for.
