Warm and dry

I'm not a hiker, just a walker of the dog in the forest preserve. These are the first hiking boots I have ever owned. So far I have walked them through snow, mud and water, and my feet have stayed dry and warm. Good traction on the soles for going up and down those steep ravines. I ordered a half-size larger than usual to accommodate heavy socks; it turns out that a full size larger might have been better, but these will do. I'm happy with them and wear them every day.
