Vaude Astra II Backpack - 65+10
Closeouts. Extended tours in the backcountry call for a durable, efficient and comfortable pack, and Vaude's Astra II backpack certainly fits the bill. The Tergolight adjustable suspension allows explorers to customize their fit for maximum performance, and a host of rugged materials combine to combat the elements and resist wear and tear.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by NatureGuy from CA on Saturday, May 17, 2014I love everything about this bag except that the lower compartment is quite small (it doesn't fit my sleeping bag easily). But I like the size, shape, and the pockets available , the adjustability, durability, and comfort, hydration bladder compatibility is nice too. Rain cover seems a little small, it has trouble fitting over anything strapped to the outside of the pack, but is a great built in addition. Accessibility to the main compartment is great, you can get in there with out unpacking the whole thing. Pockets on the hip belt, a great place to stash things good to have on hand.
Reviewed by car campin joe from wisconsin on Wednesday, February 19, 2014All sorts of space in this bag along with a bunch of pockets and clips! The adjustable frame is a pretty cool feature! I havent taken it backpacking yet, but the volume will let me easily carry everything ill need when i do and the frame, support straps and padding will make it a comfortable bag to hike with! I would definitely recommend this bag or any Vaude bag. excellent quality!
Reviewed by Davemk from Highlands Ranch, Colorado on Thursday, December 19, 2013Great pack for the price, just the right size for 3-4 days in the backcountry. I really like the integrated rain cover and how adjustable it is, but it is on the heavy side. Most of the straps are really long, so they can be trimmed to save a little weight.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rock Climber from Las Vegas, Nv on Wednesday, February 13, 2013I have been using a Vaude Argon expedition rock 45+10 for rock climbing going on 2 years and it is so comfortable, I Have chosen to only use Vaude. They are highly adjustable and very comfortable. They do no fit the ultra-lite category but make a heavy load feel lighter and are very durable.
Best Pack I ever had, and will only buy Vaude now
