This pack is great for backcountry hikes even day hikes . I can fit my sleeping bag and pad in there and still have plenty room for other stuff. I appreciate the opportunity to change the length for your back. It's nice to carry , you don't sweat much on your back! I love it!

Bought this for my wife for a recent trip to NM mountains. Held up well, plus used it for a day pack on summit day as it was smallest of our two packs. Light, but not ultra-light. Will carry more weight than it looks comfortably as well. My wife has a small frame and it fit her just right. Material could be more durable, but I have the 50L version and it has held up as long as you don't treat it like a pack mule.

I was looking for a bag for weekend/lighter trips as I already have an external expedition pack. Used to externals, I was looking for strapping options, for sleeping pad/tent ect. This pack offers a lot of durable packing options with loops, and hooks built in. I also was looking for a bag with front/panel access-(why I voted this a 4 instead of a 5)- this has more of a zipper "slot" not quite the fold back or open along the front that I was expecting. I was also looking for an adjustable pack as I am a taller thin female with a long torso. This pack was able to adjust perfectly to my body without getting "wider" (as happens in many size specific bags). When wearing the bag, it is extremely comfortable and the hip pads are nice and thick. I was happy that this bag has 2 water bottle slots on the sides and 2 small pockets on both sides of the hip strap.
