3.0 out of 5 stars. Just OKReviewed by Anonymous from california on Sunday, July 26, 2015This pack is just OK. The construction seems fine and I like the floating lid, but there are too many big downsides. The frame is just a plastic insert, which is likely to be hot/sweaty. They should have kept the wire frame they used to use, which is both strong and light. Also, there are no hip pockets or water bottle pockets. Instead, you have two side zip pockets (the side slashes seen in the photo) which are for....I dunno what. A bottle won't fit in that side pocket. It's long but shallow. What the heck were they thinking you'd put in there? Pens and pencils?
No idea...I went with a Gregory pack instead!
