4.0 out of 5 stars. Love this backbackVerified Buyer Reviewed by bingo the dingo from Hallsville, MO on Monday, July 27, 2015I loved everything about this backpack, particular the back webbing for a cooler back, but unfortunately I could not make it fit. Even extending all the straps I could not make this backpack fit. I gave it to my hiking buddy and she loves it. I am hoping to find a Vaude large enough for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great lightweight pack!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Illinois on Tuesday, April 14, 2015I love this pack! Right now I'm using it for day hikes. In an effort to go ultra light, I am planning on using this for backpacking so that I don't overload myself. This will provide a challenge for me as there is only 1500 cubic inches in the interior. I appreciate the simplicity of having one large compartment vs. many pockets. I haven't utilized a H2O hydration system but the pack does have the appropriate set up for one (mesh pocket inside with opening for tubing to the outside). The internal frame is comfortable with adequate ventilation for my backside.

5.0 out of 5 stars. nice day bagVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rebecca from Maine on Thursday, February 5, 2015This little bag is the perfect happy-go-lucky bag for day hikes. Bulky enough to accommodate extra layers in winter (what I bought it for), but not to big. It has covered pockets for water bottles- not sure why they're enclosed- makes them harder to access, but also prevents them from ever falling out. The hip belt is smallish- about what you'd expect for a bag of this size, but adequate, unless you're carrying really heavy loads or rocks (note the sarcasm). The green color is so pretty too! The back is very stiff and definitely keeps your sweaty back separate from the rest of the bag, so that's a plus too. The inner compartment is simple- just a hole, really, with a place for your camelback. I love simple designs, so if you don't need bells and whistles or a thousand pockets this is the bag for you. Also the ski loops are useful, and there's even a whistle on the buckle. Well worth the $45 I spent on it!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Conflicted.....Verified Buyer Reviewed by MTgirlinMN from minnesota on Tuesday, December 16, 2014Pros: lightweight, sylish, nice pocket design (top, sides, bottom pockte contains a waterproof cover), comfortable fit
Cons: small, external frame has so much curve and no flex...makes stuffing the pack a bit awkward
This is a nice pack at a great price IF you dont need the pack to flex. I was planning to use for camera equipment and it is just awkward to pack. I think if I was just taking stuffable clothing / water bottle and a small point-and-shoot camera for a quick hike...this pack would be great. Just not the one for me. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Almost returned, until...Reviewed by Outdoorsy type. from Texas on Sunday, January 26, 2014I began experimenting with the strapping system on my Vaude Maremma 28 Backpack. WOW! As a beginner backpacker I am impressed with the flexibility of this pack. You can make these pack sit anywhere on your back that you choose! Can't wait to get on the trails this spring and enjoy nature. Until then, I will load this baby with various weighted loads and get in shape! No wonder they sold out of this style.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great ProductReviewed by Montana Girl from Montana on Wednesday, September 4, 2013I haven't actually used this pack yet since I just got it, but for the price it looks really good. It has lots of features that a similar more expensive pack that I bought doesn't have. Can't wait to try it out.
