5.0 out of 5 stars. Very well designed packReviewed by Anonymous from Melbourne on Thursday, February 27, 2014This is a full featured pack with plenty of adjustment options and well designed pockets/compartments.
It seems to be very well made. Hopefully it will be durable, but early days yet. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great pack, better priceReviewed by Anonymous from Michigan on Wednesday, January 29, 2014This pack is tough. For a basic hiking pack, I was instantly impressed.
For the past few years, I have been using a North Face three-day pack and an external Army issue ruck (rated at 200 lbs.) for long treks. I bought the pack to have something for week-long hikes and the occasional photography assignment.
It is great. The bag fits internally my sleeping bag, cooking gear, food and clothing without even using the side pockets. Also, the 500 cordura makes this pack tough enough for the Northern Michigan woods and lighter than a full tactical pack with 1,000 cordura.
I'd like the straps to be a little thicker and more padded, but it seems like it was built to give you good range of motion and still handle some weight.
Frankly, for the price, I couldn't find a better black backpack on the web. And it is cheap enough to not feel guilty when you cut off extra strap lengths, zipper pulls or the neon yellow loops.
Great product, Vaude! -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Looking PackReviewed by Russ from Florida on Wednesday, January 29, 2014I have yet to actually use it outdoors, but have played with it inside. It seems to be very well constructed and functional. It fits well on my 6'2" long waisted build. The frame is much more exposed than on my only other internal frame pack, however, aside from the occasional snag, I wouldn't anticipate that to cause problems. The aluminum framing material is smaller than I expected, but I am accustomed to the thick external frame on my old Jansport pack, and it still seems quite sturdy. I hope it performs as well as it looks.
