    This is a nice jacket for dressing up jeans. I wish it had a liner for easy on and off. I was also disappointed with some of the embroidery detail because the threads were fraying in a few spots. The black on black hides it a bit. All in all, a nice casual jacket for the price.

    This jacket's fabric is very light-weight and I would not consider it a 'velvet.' However, it is cute, well cut, and with a long, lacey white blouse underneath, it will be awesome to wear. Sleeves are amply long which I need. Will work with skinny long skirts for dress, or designer jeans for more casual.

    This says velvet, but is kind of a crumpled cotton - would work better with jeans or dark cords than dress slacks. The sleeves are a nice long length, but the bodice stops right at the natural waist, and is a little wide for a medium.
